The School of Engineering at LAKESIDE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, GHANA (LUCG) was established in 2016 with a specific mandate of educating engineers to the highest international professional standards. It is affiliated with the College of Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), which is one of the first and best ranked universities in Ghana. The School of Engineering at LUCG now offers a Bachelor of Science program in Civil Engineering and plans to start other programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Oil and Gas Engineering in the near future.  The School of Engineering at LUCG has established collaborations and partnerships with industry bodies to train students in real-practice environments.

I welcome you to the school of Engineering on my own behalf and that of the School of Engineering. At the LUCG’s School of Engineering, we are committed to training students who aspire to learn the breadth and depth of how to lead in the field of engineering. We provide the environment and resources that ensure high-quality practical and analytical learning. In addition, the school encourages faculty, students, and alumni to engage in industry collaborations and partnerships to change the world through the best engineering solutions. The world will always request more and more engineers, and LUCG will continue to assure that our graduates can not only step into that world, but also lead it.
